@nikos - Tried the lastest version on DELL D520. The IntelGMA does not work. I can always take a picture of the error message when booting if it is not a know issue. VESA work as normal.

Same here on my D520, it defaults to VESA mode.

Did you manage to get the WiFi to work with the Atheros5000.device drivers?

Amigamia: No, Atheros it is not for 64-bit yet.

It is so unamiga with VESA mode

Feels like PC back in the day

It's not too bad in VESA but I haven't tried everything yet. Sound works. Can't wait for the atheros driver

FYI: Getting nouveau and IntelGMA drivers running on 64-bit will happen somewhere in Q1 2026.

Will the drivers be updated?

I don't think there will be anything new for IntelGMA - that hardware is probably already support. For nVidia there might be an update, but that's not my goal at the moment.

AMIGASYSTEM wrote:

@AMIGASYSTEM - On a native PC, Dopus4 seems to have no problems even when copying files from the network (native PC tested from AROS One Live Pendrive).

The Guru occurs on WMware but also with QEmu when I copy files or directories to any location. On QEmu, in addition to the Guru, the crash restarts Qemu.

On Wanderer, there is no GURU when copying files and directories, and even installation from DVD does not encounter problems despite copying gigabytes of data.

On WMware, I use Hardfile IDE, but as mentioned, even when copying to RAM, I encountered the Guru.

Moving this to support thread.

Ok, let's focus on QEMU then, becuase that is something I might be able to reproduce.

1) Can you reproduce the crash also when using clean system installation updated to U2 and not AROS One?
2) Can you give me the command line parameters you are using with QEMU

On QEmu, I performed a clean installation with:

AROS-20250418-1-pc-x86_64-boot-iso + AROS-20250418-1-U2-any-x86_64-update

Initially, everything was fine, with no Guru errors even when copying large amounts of data from the network share, but then the Guru error occurred when copying a single folder from the network share, see screenshot "

This is the QEmu script I used:

Code Download source

qemu-system-x86_64.exe -drive file=AROS1.img,format=raw -cpu qemu64 -device ES1370 -m 6144 -vga std -netdev user,id=mynet0 -device pcnet,netdev=mynet0

Ok. Good. Can you also repeat the crash with clean installation and copying from disk to RAM - so to remove the network components from tests for now.

GURU appeared by copying data from HarDisk to RAM on QEmu, see screenshot

Ok, try this build and test for both network->disk and disk->ram errors.

With QEmu, the problem seems to have disappeared!

With VMware, it has worsened; the Guru appears always

Guru also encountered on QEmu when copying data to RAM, see screenshot
